Joined SPP in 2006 shortly
after inception. At SPP, Mike’s primary responsibilities include
transaction sourcing, due diligence, and construction and investment
management. Mike has more than 25 years of experience as an
investor, developer, owner and operator of real estate projects,
with a specialty in retail and commercial assets.
Prior to joining SPP, Mike was a principal and co-founder of
Diversified Real Estate, LLC, a real estate development and
management company headquartered in South Bend, Indiana. While at
Diversified, Mike was responsible for the acquisition and
development of 12 real estate projects including stand-alone office
and retail properties in urban, suburban and rural locations. Prior
to Diversified, Mike was the Vice President and an owner of B&R Oil
Co., a northern Indiana-based petroleum distributor and owner of
numerous retail gasoline stations and convenience stores. At B&R,
Mike was responsible for all aspects of company operations,
including the acquisition and management of more than $30 million of
real estate assets.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from
Valparaiso University in 1980. He lives in Granger, Indiana with his
wife and two children. |
